Nestled in the historic heart of Ronda, just a stone's throw from the beautiful Iglesia de Espíritu Santo, Cafe Restaurante La Vendimya is a charming café that captures the essence of Spanish hospitality. With its enchanting terrace overlooking the spectacular East hills of Ronda, this hidden gem is not only a feast for the senses but also an escape into nature's beauty.

The café presents an inviting atmosphere, perfect for any time of day—be it a delightful breakfast, a leisurely lunch of exquisite tapas, or a relaxing afternoon drink while soaking in the breathtaking views. As one reviewer, Doug Heller, aptly described, it's a fantastic spot to enjoy a relaxing late afternoon sip with your favorite drink against the backdrop of the rolling green hills and a stunning sunset.

The menu features a wonderful selection of dishes that combine simplicity with remarkable flavors. Diners rave about the deliciously crafted tapas, including highlights like the rich, savory sardine toast, and the elegant truffle parmesan asparagus that many have called the star of the show. Customer Alexis de Laurens remarks on the delicious presentation and notable flavors of the dishes, while Amalia Bradea emphasizes the warm shrimp dish that shouldn't be missed. The food here is not just a meal—it's a culinary experience!

What's even more delightful is the friendly service that matches the scenery. Many patrons note the warmth of the staff, making you feel right at home. Anu Bhalla shared her satisfaction with the attentive service, highlighting how the staff, especially Clara, goes above and beyond to ensure every guest enjoys their visit. With fast and friendly service, as pointed out by Tobias R., you'll feel cared for while immersing yourself in the flavors of Spain.

Don’t miss out on the café’s reasonable pricing, which is pleasantly surprising given the quality of the food and view. Located conveniently in the heart of Ronda, La Vendimya is a perfect pit-stop for anyone exploring this picturesque town. Whether you’re diving into their delicious salads with goat cheese and fresh berries, or simply enjoying a refreshing drink, this café exudes a sense of community and warmth that you won’t soon forget.

Remember, though, this café closes its doors on Mondays and Tuesdays, so plan your visit accordingly. Next time you're in Ronda, let Cafe Restaurante La Vendimya be your destination for wonderful food, stunning views, and delightful service—where every meal becomes a cherished memory.

Beautiful terrace overlooking the East hills of Ronda. It’s a little hidden away next to the Iglesia de Spiritu Santi. Food was on point - delicious. It’s simple, but perfectly spiced and beautifully presented. The service was fast and friendly. Prices are fair. Only small minus: they served the main when we were just having the last bites of our appetizers - they could have waited a little bit longer. But still probably the best dinner experience we’ve had in Andalusia after 10 days.

Excellent location, beautiful view, friendly service, surprisingly reasonable prices, dare to say low. And they had a pet loving cat <3

Fantastic spot for breakfast or fine dining, or just for a relaxing late afternoon drink on the terrace with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and sweeping green hills in the fading light. The service matches the views--which is not always the case-- but here the human touch reflects the family-run and staffed nature of the place. Closed Monday and Tuesdays. Come here any time of day for a delightful experience. Parking available on front side of building near hotel entrance and follow the cobblestone alley to the front gate. Wifi works even out on the various levels of the terraces outside. Reportedly some of the best patatas bravas. We've visited multiple times but have yet to try them with our 2 year old in tow. A true hidden gem in the historic old town barrio of San Francisco (south of and below the New Bridge which is surging with visitors between 11am and 6pm).

Everything was good I'm a quite picky person when it comes to restaurants and I have to say that this place is excellent. P.S. : don't miss the warm shrimp dish from the starters.

I’m so happy that I came to this restaurant in Ronda. We are from the United States and have travelled around the world so we know good food and this was GREAT. The ambience, food, and service were all stellar. Spent around 2-3 hours here eating, drinking, and enjoying the Mediterranean scenery and ambience. Our server, Clara was amazing and went above and beyond serving us drinks and food. Truly one of the best experiences in Andalusia and I recommend anyone visiting Ronda to stop by here, have a few drinks and eat some of the marvelous food here. Would love to come back soon :)

While exploring the beautiful town of Ronda I came across this lovely terraced cafe overlooking the rolling green hills. I had not had much luck with finding a good salad in my travels around southern Spain yet so I decided to give this cafe a try. Oh my goodness, so glad I did as it was one of the best salads I’ve ever had with goat cheese, fresh berries and assorted nuts and lettuces with a balsamic glaze. Wonderful service, atmosphere, views, and food!

Beautiful location with great views. Friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere. We ate there twice, and the food was generally good. The truffle parmesan asparagus was our highlight.
